It has been a tumultuous 24 hours over here!
I transferred to WordPress not a second too soon! Google completely deleted my Blogger blog because of “malicious spam comments”, but I’m happy to say that you can still find ALL my posts on my new WordPress blog: mamaandbabylove.com. The new blog is not totally finished yet, so if you find any other kinks, please give it a couple of more days. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I am still not sure exactly why Blogger decided to delete my blog, because I hardly get any “malicious spam comments”. I am seriously wondering if they just deleted it out of spite, because I was moving over to WordPress. I am all for conspiracy theories.
I have spent the entire morning sobbing, one because I am pregnant and prone to crying spells, and two because pretty much all of my traffic comes from Pinterest. And all the posts that people have pinned in the past are linked to my blogspot address.
So not only have I lost ALL of my google readers, people on Pinterest can’t find my posts right now.
I am asking for your help in support.
I need anyone who has pinned a post of mine, to correct the address to my new domain. If you see a pin going to the old address, please leave a comment for the pinner to update the address.
Simply search the title of the blog post, with my search icon and it will come right up. If you can’t find something, or have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at mamaandbabylove@gmail.com

When I switched a few weeks ago, there were lots of kinks immediately. People would click on URLs for my page, and then it would lead them nowhere. I hope everything gets ironed out quickly. And shame on Blogger for deleting your blog.
Jessica, from Pixelista, said that it just takes awhile for search engines to realize that everything moved. It is pretty horrible of Blogger. I am just so thankful that I was in the process of moving over to WordPress and had backups for my content, or I would have lost all my content, every last word.
I, for one, found you through Pinterest, so I will do what I can to redirect other pinners!

I JUST found you via pinterest this week and when I went back today to re-read some recipes your blog was gone. I was so sad! But your new blog DOES show up on a google search already, so that is how I found you again. I will let pinners know to update the link if I see any.

I can’t believe that they completely deleted your blog. That is horrible. Don’t get me wrong, I am sure that there are many blogs out that that should be deleted for content or other things, but yours if definitely not one of them. You offer such good advice, in an array of area. Google has lost their mind!
I know! I can’t believe it either! It is happening all the time to other blogs, so I am going to shout from the rooftops to not use Blogger!

So glad you thought of it and that you are back! I was so sad to loose all my google reader followers. I am going to send out a newsletter about my new RSS feed soon, hopefully it all work out fine.
You’re still coming through to my google reader! Only difference is now the posts are abbreviated and require me to come to the full site to view. Hope everything gets to working for you again!!

Stephanie – I actually had your Google Friend Connect feed updated to the new WordPress blog before Google deleted your blog, so it is *possible* that those subscribers are still receiving updates. I assumed that it wouldn’t be that way though, so that would be cool!

I too am still getting your blog via Google reader. Your “How to Choose the Right Yarn and Crochet Hook” post came in twice (Jan. 17 & 18). Your Jan. 18th and newer posts link to this new address, while the Jan. 17 and older posts link to the blogger “blog not found” page. Glad that you’re up and running elsewhere, I really enjoy reading your blog!

Oh noooo!!! Girl, that sucks!! I have been really considering moving over to WordPress myself because there’s just too many ups and downs with Blogger. Yes, so sucky! You need to do it ASAP! I put it off and put it off and I did not a moment too soon. You will not loose your content, if you back it up, like my person did for me. Everything moves, all content, pictures, comments, everything. I used Jessica, the Pixelista, and I highly recommend her. I had fun with you as well. And I love Emily! Yes, please. Your blog is so beautiful! You seem like you really have it together and are so professional, unlike me. I am going to Blissdom next month, you should come with me!!!

Whew!! I had found you through Pinterest and went on today to get the recipes for the freezer/crock pot meals, and it was gone! I’ll make sure and alert all my pinners and other Pinterest friends about the change!!

I’m so happy to have found you again!! I bought all of the veggies for my first adventure with freezer slow cooker meals and then your blog was gone! I was busy trying to figure out what to do with beets and peppers … lol!! I printed them off and will be trying them tomorrow!!

I like others who commented are still getting your posts through my Google Reader. The way I signed up on Google Reader was by just entering your url in the add subscription box. I guess this is why I am still able to get the posts since I did not click on “google follower” (I did not know how to do that). Thank you for all the hard work you put into this site I really enjoy reading it!!
Also meant to mention that it no longer will let you read the whole post in google reader (it just shows about 2 sentences and then links to website), even when I changed the subscription to your new address it is still coming up this way.
Yeah, that is a new WordPress thing for sure. I was recommended to do that because it would increase my pageviews, which is essentially a way to support me and my work. But I am still thinking about it and appreciate your feedback.

No, I lost all those, but I read recently that Google is going to be getting rid of those soon anyway. Good luck to you!
I was one of those pinners that couldnt find you the other day. I was looking for your crockpot freezer meals. But low and behold I saw that same pic and found my way here. YAY!!! Hi Stephanie, I just updated my pins with your new URLs, and I know the crockpot dinners one was a huge one because about a bajillion people repinned it. I finally had to change my Pinterest notification settings because I was getting too many emails telling me people had repinned that post! Anyway, if you really want to ensure that everyone follows you over here, there is a way on Pinterest to find all pins from MBL, then you could go in and post a comment on each one with the new URL. If you click on any pin from MBL, there is a box in the lower left side of the screen that says “Also from mamaandbabylove.com”. When you click on that, it will take you to all the others. Good luck!
Yes, I have been slowly commenting on all pins out there. But Pinterest only allows you to make a like 5 comments in a row before they block you for 24 hours. Its really annoying!
