Happy Green Bee is a line of clothing that I used to sell at my yoga studio. I am big fan of their clothes and the woman behind the company. She was one of the original founders of Burt’s Bee. They recently sent me a dress to review and I LOVE it.
The mission of the company is to create cheerful organic kids’ clothing with sustainable earth friendly manufacturing practices in an effort to meet and increase the demand for organic children’s clothing that not only looks and feels great but is contributing in positive ways to the welfare of our planet.
They sent over a size L. It is a little long and big, but Penelope grows tall, so fast, that I always want to get dresses long so she can wear it longer and get more use out of it.
I am thrilled that the dress is organic, but I also love the construction of the dress. They did a rolled hem on each ruffle and on the neck and sleeve. Penelope isn’t too picky about her clothes, but I know some kids can get fussy about clothes not being comfortable or being too itchy, but this dress would not be a problem.
I love this color combo! Sweet and feminine, but not over the top. I think she looks like a little fairy in it. She had a great time playing outside in this dress. It is a beautiful dress, but one that your child can still play hard in.
This is Penelope last December. We had this dress is brown and green too and I loved the petal shape of the bottom. I also really love the quality of Happy Green Bee clothes. The brown and green dress we have, was worn by two other little girls before it got to Penelope and it was still in perfect condition. The necks on those style of dresses run small, so be sure to order a size up.
They so many cute things on their site. They have a super cute line of black and white outfits, and all their original designs are now on clearance for a great price. They also just came out with a more classic design line, called Oxanna. It is amazing! Each piece is unique and made from re-purposed material.
Happy Green Bee has graciously offered to do a giveaway! They are offering the winner ANY item of their choosing from their original line!
