Perfect! Followed the recipe to a T and it was great. There were a TON of leftovers. I used a 5 pound roast. I put some of the extra meat in the fridge for later and still had a lot of leftover meat.

This is AWESOME! This will be my go-to recipe for pulled pork from now on. The only change I made was omitting the oil as I just couldn’t see the need for it and reduced the thyme to a little less than a teaspoon.

2lb pork shoulder
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp salt
½ cup apple cider vinegar
½ cup chicken broth
4 hamburger buns, halved
How to make BBQ Pulled Slow Cooked Pork Sandwiches :
In a bowl combine the brown sugar, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, mustard powder, salt, black pepper and smoked paprika.
Rub the pork shoulder with vegetable oil then add the spice blend to the meat.
Place the BBQ pork shoulder into a slow cooker, pour in the apple cider vinegar and chicken broth.
Cover the lid and set to HIGH, cook for 6 hours.
Shred the BBQ pulled slow cooked pork using two forks.
Serve the pulled pork with barbeque sauce inside the hamburger buns.
