Learning about bulk cooking and making freezer meals is single-handedly the most transformative thing in my role as a mother and wife. It is the most important skill a woman needs to learn if she wants to have enough time for all her passions and get a healthy dinner on the table every night.
Bulk cooking and freezer meal prep saves me so much time in the kitchen. Each of us gets to decide how we will use that extra time – I personally use it for self-care and quality time with my family. The time I would be in kitchen laboring is now spent relaxing with a book and glass of wine and playing with my sweet girl. Or even back in the kitchen with my girl! But we are relaxed and baking something fun and creating! And it’s not the, Oh God, it’s 5:30p and I need to figure out something for dinner in the kitchen time.
If you are on a personal growth journey, learning how to freezer cook is the foundation. It is the key that gives you time to take care of yourself AND work on yourself.
Mama and Baby Love started in 2005. I started working with moms in 2001, but my business officially started in 2005 and what a journey it has been! From teaching yoga and childbirth classes out of my home, to a owning a yoga studio, to operating a thriving blog and now teaching young children at the school my daughter goes to in the school year and teaching in the Art of Motherhood School I created in the summers. The very first thing I teach in AOMS, is the basics of freezer cooking and making sure everyone has a stocked freezer before we begin.
